Children's room design

A children's room, whether it will be for a boy or a girl, a schoolchild or a newborn, should be distinguished by its uniqueness, comfort and originality. When designing, you must adhere to certain requirements, otherwise even the most expensive chic design will lose all meaning.

First of all, the room for the child should be:

- light. In addition to natural daylight, you should carefully consider an additional light source. They can be wall sconces and lamps, lamps and ceiling lighting;

- warm. It is better not to choose a corner room for the children, it is good if the windows face the sunny part of the side. The presence of additional heating in the room, as a heated floor, is completely undesirable. It can hardly be called an advantage an additional source for dry air;

- spacious. No need to force the whole room with bulky and unnecessary furniture. There must be a space for active games and leisure activities for the child. For children's fantasies, 20-22 sq.m. is quite enough.

No need to chase fashion and the latest popular novelties. Safe and simple materials and objects are suitable for decorating a nursery:

- wallpaper on a paper basis of light shades;

- natural high-quality wooden furniture; wicker furniture;

- choose natural light material for window decor;

- for a bed, a mattress made of natural fillers is better suited: sesame or coconut.

Depending on the age of the child, the design of the room will depend. For a newborn, it is necessary to adhere to such nuances as:

- calm and bright design of the room, without sharp contrasting transitions. It is better to simply whitewash the ceiling, glue the walls with simple wallpaper or paint with water-based paint. In the room for the baby there should be the most necessary furniture: a crib, a changing table, a chest of drawers, a small locker. There should not be any extra dust collectors.

- for children from two years old, the room can be divided into various thematic spaces: a zone for rest and sleep, a play zone, a zone for studies.

For the design of individual zones, modern design items are used: partitions and arches, stationary and mobile screens, multifunctional children's furniture, color scheme and additional lighting.

When choosing a design for a children's room, you need to take into account all the wishes and preferences of the child. Maintain adequacy and consistency in your fantasies.
