Plitex Aloe Vera Semi-Oval - Children's orthopedic mattress

The Aloe Vera Semi-Oval mattress is specially designed for cribs with rounded corners. It is orthopedic, springless, and комбinated. Two sides with different firmness levels provide healthy and comfortable sleep for children from birth to 3 years old, while the quilted zippered cover and 3D mesh around the perimeter make mattress care easy.

Caring for Your Baby’s Safety

The mattress has successfully passed testing according to 12 safety criteria (including the absence of formaldehydes, phenols, and styrenes). It is made from high-quality, certified materials.

For convenience, the filler layers are bonded together using an eco-friendly, water-based adhesive that is colorless, odorless, and completely safe for children (SIMALFA production, Switzerland).

Special Rounded Shape

The rounded corners allow the mattress to fit perfectly into cribs of the corresponding shape. This ensures an even sleeping surface throughout the entire period of use and supports the proper development of the child’s posture.

Natural Fillers

On the outer layers of the mattress, we use natural materials that are more resilient and durable than synthetic alternatives.

The side for newborns features natural coconut coir fibers bonded with latex.

The second side is made of natural latex, which provides point-by-point distribution of the child’s body weight.

Orthopedic Effect of Coconut Coir

Coconut coir is an elastic material that maintains a flat surface for a long time without sagging, ensuring reliable spinal support for newborns. Natural coconut coir fibers bonded with latex are completely safe for children. Another advantage of natural coconut fibers is their low maintenance: they do not harbor microorganisms, absorb moisture, or retain odors.

Removable Zippered Cover

The quilted knitted cover has antibacterial properties. It dries quickly and retains its shape after washing. An additional 3D mesh around the perimeter improves ventilation of the mattress fillings.

In Plitex mattresses, the zipper runs along three sides of the cover, making it much easier to remove and put back on. For safety reasons, the zipper is sewn in such a way that the child cannot accidentally reach it.

Composition:

1. Quilted Aloe Vera cover (knit fabric)
2. Natural coconut coir (10 mm) on one side
3. Aloe Vera Fibre (80 mm) — a next-generation material (manufactured by Verbeq, Germany–Russia). The fibers are twisted like small springs, which increases elasticity and makes the surface more resistant to deformation. Aloe Vera Fibre also has antibacterial aloe vera properties, is eco-friendly, and safe for children (certified).
4. Natural latex (10 mm) on the other side — elastic, resilient, durable, does not accumulate dust, resistant to bacterial growth, and its porous structure provides excellent ventilation.
